DG/CEO OF NBTI RECEIVES HAJNABY VENTURES LTD IN HER AUDIENCE.

The Director General/CEO of NBTI Dr. Uchenna Chukwu yesterday 12/7/2023 day received in her audience the Managing Director/CEO of Hajnaby Ventures Ltd, Mrs. Fatima Binta Ibrahim.


Mrs Ibrahim said her visit to NBTI was to inform the Management that ECOWAS has finally paid the $10,000 she won in October 2022 at the ECOWAS Forum for Researchers and Innovators(FARI).


The Managing Director added that as a product of Technology Incubation Centre Kaduna, she feels NBTI that nominated her for the competition should be aware of the recent development. She also said that the privilege NBTI gave her has opened doors for more opportunities for her to be engaged in local and international fora as far the Baobab products and value chain is concerned.


It will be recalled that Hajnaby had introduced  Boabab products to her line of products culminating into winning several awards. Boabab is a tree commonly found in Northern Nigeria and its pods are found to be highly medicinal alongside with other values. She added that the economic importance of the tree are too numerous to be mentioned.


In her remarks, the Director General of NBTI Dr. Uchenna Chukwu congratulated  Hajnaby Ventures Ltd and appreciated her for making NBTI proud. Dr. Chukwu added that the NBTI will not rest until the mandate to use Research and Development results to industrialize Nigeria is fully achieved. She advised other entrepreneurs to emulate Mrs Ibrahim and research more on their products to bring them at par with global best practices.
