The Director General, Dr. Mrs. Patricia Chukwu paid a visit to a sister agency under the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. The visit is to strengthen the collaboration between the two organizations in the critical area of commercialization of research and development.

In her speech, she commends NABDA on the provision of practical solutions that have enhanced the well-being of the citizens of Nigeria and went further to explain that NBTI has a track record of supporting entrepreneurs and start ups in various skills, providing them with the necessary guidelines,  resources and the infrastructure to transform their ideas into successful ventures.

The DG/CEO of National Biotechnology Development Agency Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, while responding to her, says it is his pleasure receiving the team from NBTI.

Going further to say they are willing to collaborate with NBTI, stating at present, they have enough research that needs commercialization, and thus, they are looking forward to see how the collaboration takes off and goes to achieve products that are useful to all Nigerians. The meeting also agreed to set up a committee to come up with a memorandum of understanding and memorandum of agreement for the collaboration.
