Mikaila Rilwan

Mukaila Rilwan (born on 9th December 1972) is the current Centre Manager of Technology Incubation Centre Ilorin, Kwara State. His last place of work was Technology Incubation Centre Kaduna as head of Administration. Alhaji Mukaila’s area of specialization is organizational conflict and resolution; reason why the immediate past Director General/CEO, Engr. (Dr.) Jibrin Mohammed transferred him to Technology Incubation Centre (TIC), Minna, from TIC Gusau in September, 2015 to restore peace at the centre. He was later transferred to TIC Kaduna in 2017 to carry out the same assignment. Alhaji Mukaila has strong passion for excellence and he is renowned as a professional administrator. He was appointed as the Centre Manager TIC Ilorin on 8th July, 2022.

 

Early Life and Education

Alhaji Mukaila Rilwan was born in Agege, Lagos State Nigeria. He attended Dairy Farm Primary and Secondary School Agege from 1979 to 1991. He also attended Adenrele High School, Ifo, Ogun State (1992 – 1993) where he obtained his Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) result. He proceeded to the Lagos State University Ojo, from 1994 – 1998 where he obtained a Bachelor Degree of Science (B.Sc) in Economics. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration (Human Resources Management) from Bayero University Kano in the year 2010.  

Professional Career

Alhaji Mukiala Rilwan was employed as an Administrative Officer II in October 2003 at Technology Business Incubation Centre, Gusau, under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. In February 2015, he was moved to the Senior Planning Officer Cadre.

 

In September 15, 2015, he was transferred to Technology Incubation Centre Minna as a Principal Administrative Officer with the task of assisting the Centre Manager in formulating and interpreting government circular and ensuring effective running of the activities of the Centre as enshrined in the Public Service Rule. 

 

On 14th February 2017, the immediate past DG/CEO, Engr. Jibrin Moahmmed transferred him to Technology Incubation Centre Kaduna to resolve the crisis between the Centre Manager and some staff of the Centre. He successfully carried out the assignment and restored peace at the Centre. Alhaji Rilwan spent 5 years and six months at Kaduna Centre before he was appointed the 3rd substantive Centre Manager of TIC Ilorin, Kwara State.
